Designing reliable data flows, reporting solutions, quality controls, and decision-support tools.
Automation - Data - Development - Systems - Leadership
I’m a technology leader specializing in educational technology, data, software development, reporting, and process automation. Much of my career has focused on helping school districts manage complex data and operational requirements by building systems that are practical, reliable, and easier for people to use.
My work spans application development, business intelligence, data and reporting solutions, automation, and the technical systems that support them. I enjoy bringing these areas together to simplify complicated processes, improve access to information, and create tools that better support the people responsible for turning educational data into meaningful work.
What I do
Work that spans the full path from understanding a problem through the design, implementation, support, and improvement of the system that solves it.
Designing reliable data flows, reporting solutions, quality controls, and decision-support tools.
Building maintainable applications and automations that replace repetitive or fragile workflows.
Connecting people, priorities, systems, and implementation details to move complex work forward.
Experience
Roles that have had the greatest influence on my technical, operational, and leadership experience.
Lead a three-person technical team while remaining actively involved in software development, data architecture, reporting, automation, and emerging technology initiatives. My role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, with a focus on educational data and processes and on creating maintainable systems that simplify complex reporting, operational, and analytical workflows.
Supported school districts with New York State reporting and data-quality issues while expanding into SQL development, business intelligence, and tools that made complex educational data easier to understand and manage.
Supported NYS, NYSESLAT, NYSITELL, Regents and DataMate scoring while gaining my first experience with educational data systems and applying technology to operational problems.
Selected work
Selected case studies showing the problem, implementation, and outcome behind the work.
A one-stop-shop for all things ESSA Accountability. Allowing school district administrators to view their state standings and relevant L2RPT data all in once place. Additional analysis pages included for county benchmarks and gap analysis, as well as a long term trend analysis of the NYSED accountability indicators.

A front end for a relational database containing report information for all analytical reports hosted by the Nassau Regional Information Center.

As my professional responsibilities grew, I found myself searching for a better way to organize projects, tasks, reminders, and the many small details that come with them. After trying several popular productivity platforms without finding one that matched the way I naturally work, I decided to build my own.
Managr is a self-hostable productivity and task management application built with .NET 10, Blazor, Entity Framework Core, and Microsoft SQL Server. It brings tasks, events, notes, external calendars, reminders, customizable tagging, and shared team functionality into a single workspace. Its API extends the application beyond the web interface, supporting integrations such as quick task creation from iOS and locally hosted LLM tools that can summarize tasks, notes, and completed work.
